( 1 guest came to NC for the first time in 2011 and stayed 3 weeks at Rose Manor & fell in love with a Rose Manor carpenter so she stayed in NC , then in 2012 took her Mother who was visiting from France to Mason Mtn. Mine & found a 70 carat Ruby worth $5,000.00 & also an emerald. You may be lucky, too!) Bryson City in addition has the Famous railroad, & the national park…and lots of fun things to do around Deep Creek.
